Social media has definitely made an impact around people interact. We are able to get all the updates about our near and dear ones, our favourite brands and products and even on what’s happening around the globe.
The convenience of posting photos and messages in social media have led some if not all to prioritize the virtual world. They seek less meaningful conversations and real-life meeting to superficial exchanges over the social media. While social media has definitely help in crossing the distance barriers, it has made some to have a false sense of connections. This is truer with the younger generation of people.
There is weakening of real-life gatherings and communication. In my apartment, it is more online meetings rather face to face meetings while discussing on various topics.
Not sure, if social media is helping or weakening real-life interactions. What is your take?

That is so true. Everyone is busy and have less interest in talking to neighbours, acquaintance or colleagues. We could only blame social media for same. Thanks for sharing!

Well, you are lucky few ones who have not seen the deteriotion of the depth and quality of real life conversations. I also agree it depends on the individuals as well. Thanks for sharing!

@RevivedWarrior It is my pleasure to share. The only downside is that I lack of socializing with others in the real world. But then, I can still catch up with them.

While it helps keep us connected, it might also reduce the quality and depth of real-life conversations. It's a bit of a paradox, isn't it?

Social media has its negatives and unfortunately the negatives are higher than the positives at times. Thanks for sharing!
