Well, it started about an hour ago. We finally got rain. It's loud and the kind Chilly would've hated. I'm glad he conqured his fear before his passing. But, in more positive news, George felt like popping his head outside. It happened befre the rain picked up. It's a thunderstorm, but I'll take it for what it is. It'll knock out the humidity for a while.

@kaylachan My area is fine. Although the mayor suspended the classes at the primary school and high school levels today. I had seen some lowland areas are heavily flooded since yesterday.

@kanuck1 No, it drains instantly after a rain, but that's how you can tell it's rained hard.

It got so dark and then me and the cats looked at one another, I heard the rain coming down, Tish stayed with me on the PC chair, and Freddie hearing the thunder made a dash for under the bed, The clouds over the river are shifting but still dark, Glad we finally got this rain,
