Somehow when it rains heavily here in the night it is kind of lullaby and I get good sleep

Even me, when it rains I have really good sleep. The rain sounds like a lullaby to me!

In my current location, I am not concerned about that. Being on the fifth floor of a condo, I never have to worry about flooding, and since our unit is two stories below the roof, leaks are also not a concern for me. Because of the cool, sleep-friendly weather, I am able to get a good night's sleep.

Sorry for the bad weather. I saw media reports of how the typhoon is devastating. We hope it does no more damage.

It must be scary to be stuck in a typhoon. Take care.

The typhoon already passed. A lot of areas were flooded, especially those near rivers or dams. What we have right now is monsoon rain plus some aftermath of the typhoon and the weather bureau said that there might be another typhoon coming in soon

My goodness. Isn't your house roof a concrete roof?

@aninditasen the most common here are corrugated metal roofing. We also have asphalt or clay tiles but it depends on house structure and on the owner of the house.
