Do you find it easy to get up in the morning?

I admire people who get up as soon as the alarm clock goes off. You know, those people who have no difficulty getting out of bed? Those who wake up fresh, in a good mood, and without any drowsiness? I liked being like that. Today was one of those days, it was really hard for me to get out of bed, I snoozed the alarm several times and then I was rushing to get to work on time. One of my goals this year was to wake up earlier, so I would have time to organize my things before going to work, but I have failed at that goal miserably. I need to change something about my routine, maybe going to bed earlier at night would be a good start... Do you find it easy to get up in the morning? What do you do to make it easier? Picture has nothing to do with the discussion, these are my children's short names written with shells on the beach.

I used to try to get things ready the night before or at least perhaps decide on what I'd wear and what I'd take for lunch.

I also organize some things before I go to the bed but with 2 kids things never go as I planned.

@nela13 I can understand that. Once the boys left home, it was easier.

Sometimes it's easy but sometimes it is not. I can Wake up in the morning and go back to bed few hours later because I feel sleepy. Some days I'm okay

@nela13 I used to do that too few years ago. But I realized getting a nap is good for the brain.

As a rule yes, I am more of a lark than a nightowl. The exception would be if I didn't get enough sleep the night before.

Maybe one of my problems is not getting enough sleep and there are nights when I don't sleep well at all.

I'm retired so I really don't have to set an alarm and can get up whenever I wake. But, I do remember those days when I worked and hated getting out of bed in the morning. I always pushed that snooze so many times I would have to rush around to get out the door.

I don't like the night and l don't like sleeping - but it must be done. So l don't need an alarm clock to get me up - l am up and out of bed at daylight everyday, whether it is weekend or a holiday. However l make sure l get at least 6 hours sleep every night.

I like the picture! While sometimes I have a difficult time not hitting the snooze button, I do wake up in a good mood. I don’t know why, but it’s easy for me to be cheerful in the morning.

Since I sleep late and therefore it will be difficult for me to wake up in the morning. But I still have to as I need to go to work.

It's great when our body wakes up on its own, I guess it is a matter of routine. I definitely need to go to bed earlier.

I have not gotten up with an alarm clock in years. I am just naturally awake somewhere between 5am and 530am pretty much every day.

It is easy to get up early in morning , if we go to bed and sleep early! It is a simple principle. However, we have been lazy and mostly watching TV or internet during that time and mostly fall asleep late night. Our body needs certain amount of sleep and this can be unique . For some it could be 5 and for others 8 , roughly on average 7 hours of sleep. Personally, I do wake up after 7 hours of sleep. However, I do have challenges to waking up fresh at times and wish to lay in bed for some more time. Even , my focus has been to be more productive and well so far it is been average.

It is a very Simple principle and I really to adopt it. On average I need around 8 hours to feel well during the day.
