We are now without power, and gas been for the last couple of hours. It is just turning daylight, I can still hear the rain falling. Can't tell if there's any wind damage, just now I hear the picking up of the wind, sounds creepy. But so far I can't tell of anything. Just hope we get lights back as soon .

Oh no, sounds like you're in a doozy of a storm. Mother Nature is the great equalizer, you can't escape it once it's got a hold on you. Hope it passes quickly! Stay safe...

@popciclecold Excellent! Fortunately, that hurricane never went beyond a category 2.

@popciclecold That's awhile. It always seems so boring when the power goes out.

No wood burning stove, I just had to tough it out all day. Finally, late this evening it was restored. I was sure glad.

@rebelann Yeah, I'm going to be checking. I need something. I have a grill, that will surely help.

Here it is raining and power supply is uninterrupted. But yes;a time was when we frequently have load shedding. From 2014 till date we don't have such problems.

@popciclecold The credit goes to our government and the electric department.

I was without it all day, it was 3:45 when it came back on. I was so glad. I kept calling the light company and giving them my address. Didn't want to take any chances of being without power all night.

Do you get power cuts during the rain in your city. We get it too but it's restored once the rain stops.
