Who Is To Blame?

A submachine gun was taken from a 7 year old. He took it to the primary school he attends. Police are investigating how the child got hold of the gun and why did he take it to school. It is clear to me that adult persons in that boy's family are definitely the ones to blame. Though l am wondering what was in the child's mind when he took the gun to school. Id put the adult in charge of the boy in prison. A fine is not enough.

@Kandae11 I know. The boy is not the culprit.

@marguicha Just got the latest news on the matter. The young boy and his siblings were taken away to a state home. Which means their parents are no longer in charge of them.

@Kandae11 State homes are not the best. But in this situation it is the only thing to do.

I guess he thought he'd impress his friends but how stupid of the parents to not have it locked away at least - if they need it at all.

Latest l heard is that he and his siblings have been taken into state care. So it would seem that the parents have lost custody of their kids while the police continue their investigation.

Apart from facing the long arm of the law, their kids have been taken away. I don't know if it will be temporary.

That is a good question why adults allow children to bring rifles to school these days.

Irresponsible parents are the ones to blame. I hope that child will not have a mental health problem, I hope this incident will not give him any trauma that can damage his view in life.

His possibilities look dim. Right now he and his siblings are in state care - away from the parents. A state home is not a good place to be either .

I am still in shock as I recently read that it is common give weapons as presents to children in the US. I don't know if it is true but if it is, it is crazyness.

@nela13 Those are used by soldiers. I doubt an ordinary citizen can attain a license to carry one.
