Rained All Day

Hi, dear Lotters! How's your day/night? Twenty-six minutes passed eight in the evening at my side of the world. It was pouring all day long. I could have gone to the night market if it had not been raining. I enjoy the weekend night market because I can eat street food from different Asian countries. I do not have diet restrictions, however, I practice mindful eating. Whenever I go to the night market, I buy wollamsam (Vietnamese veggie spring rolls). It is made of rice paper filled with fresh raw vegetables like cucumber, capsicum, pineapple, carrots, shrimp, or sometimes, meat. I love its dipping sauce which I attempted to copy but after several tries, I figured that I wouldn't be able to pull it off. What's your favorite any cuisine (if there is)?

I relaxed till afternoon as I had a very busy friday. There was rain in evening but not heavy and it did not last long . However, I too decided to stay indoors. I have a long list of things to do at home and well it would be again busy weekdays and before that i need to complete a few tasks and activities. I made the to-d list for the day and looking to complete them so that i could be a bit more relaxed during weekdays. I did have rice and thai curry for a change and that was good. I did try wallamsam earlier and liked it. Well, hope you had a relaxed day.Enjoy the weekend!

I haven't tried Thai Curry. I don't haven't been to a Thai restaurant here. But I tried the version of Thai watercress when I was in my home country.

I forgot what it is called. Taro leaves is "gabi", right? But I forgot the name of the viand.

@cabuyogty Sinigang has taro leaves? I think taro roots are one of its ingredients.

Filipino Cuisine and any comfort food... I love street food actually, but also I love eating vegggies. I might go out tomorrow whether if it is raining or not, I just have to do some errands.

Ah, too bad about the rain! That wallamsam sounds so fresh and tasty—definitely worth the wait until next time. For me, I love a good pizza—its my favorite! Any flavor, thick or thin crust, pizza is always good for me.

I was a pizza lover. But now I have been avoiding ultra-processed food. I might change my mind if there is organic pizza hehehe
