Been Volunteer Hosting

I've been volunteer hosting at a state park since July 1st. It comes to an end this month for this park but they asked me to stay on and train the new host coming in so I'll give an extra few days before heading to Oregon for the month of October. The photo attached is a rock painting a camper made for me and left on their table with a note before leaving. Receiving a surprise like this makes up for the camp spots left in disarray. On the way to Oregon, I requested a stay through Harvest Host at Gather and Feast farm in Le Center, WA. They have Scottish Cattle, chickens, goats and so much more. They have a self-serve farm store to purchase eggs, fancy sauces, jelly, freezer soups/meals and more all made from all their farm growing. I'll take October off from hosting so I can visit and get doctor appointments out of the way. Seven in one week plus a vet! November I'll host another park for a month and then another. It's a plan to do for a year. We'll see how I feel down the road. I wanted to pop in and say I think of you all often and trying to catch up a bit at a time. Have a wonderful weekend everyone.
