The Konark Temple in Odisha gets submerged in water due to heavy rains giving the tourists a tough time. Though the rain has stopped the government is busy blaming the opposition party instead of trying to clear the water. Rather the BJP( which is the present government in Odisha)supporters are trying to stop any negative expression given in this case. It's really disgusting when the government avoids doing its duty after extracting heavy taxes from the people of Odisha/Indians.

Blaming the others won't solve the problem now, politicians are the worse.

Yes, an irresponsible government of Odisha. They waited for the rain to stop and water soaked by the earth. Most Indian politicians have reached the height of arrogance and corruption.

@RebeccasFarm The entire population of a country should rise against them.

This is an emergency . . . the people there are in need of great help. It's more than sad that the government is not doing their part to help them!

I think they should deal with the root cause before doing other things.

@Shavkat They will just wait for the water to subside on its own. They have come as elected people just to cheat people and money.

The root cause is bad drainage which the district civic body should take care.

It's a pity that the parties are fighting each other instead of clearing the water.

You are right. The present government blaming the previous government for everything. It's just an excuse not to work.

@aninditasen Our two major parties are a bit like that. Always picking on the others instead of saying what they'll do to correct a situation.

Nothing like that. All the maintenance money goes into the pockets of district officials and the politicians.

It's a bad situation which has to be dealt by building proper drainage.
