What a MESS,

Cloverdale, Indiana

has any 1 watched the mess the hurricane has made through N C & Georgia? & the other states it went through, O M Lord. It's going to take YRS to get it all cleaned up & put SOME what back together or even close to getting it 1/2 way cleaned. I feel so sad for all the people that has lost their lives, homes & places that was their community, & livelihood, it's so sad. Trees & debris washed away homes & business's, families history & so much more, & it was JUST a cat 2 hum hum hum. This the main reason we left the southern area (Fla) & sure super glad we did we left in 08 & we may not be in the BEST of places but it's the best place to be when hurricanes comes. What makes it so bad is as far as it made it north just as a cat 2 it even came up our way & we're way up in Indiana, which is CRAZY. we didn't lose power or get flooded but it DID hit above us, Indianapolis & really hit it hard where there's a lot of people without power. I don't know how bad it got hit but I know it just goes to show Hurricane's can do a LOT of major damage no matter what cat they are. It's all in the good lords hands he creates the weather & what the weather does is god's will I value my life in a lot of ways when it comes to bad weather, & I don't take any chances. That's how I learned to take heed of what the weather is doing, when it's hurricane season shows it's ugly head & watch very close too. I've been watching all I can of the devastation the hurricane has done through a lot of states it just makes me wonder what is next being there's another 1 brewing up, where's it going? I also wonder how much gets done & how long it's going to take to get 1/2 way functional to get their towns & cities & communities back up? I heard that N C got the worst of it, & from what I've been seeing I don't doubt it 1 bit it got hit the hardest, so many people are misplaced or dead. How bad is your area, did you get hit with it?? how much damage did you get from it?? is your place still livable, are you getting any Fema help? I hope your area town, city, state can recover. I pray that all the people on here made it without damage or felt the brunt of it & was in a safe place there's a lot of families that need a lot of help & prayers. This is 1 of them times that we all need to say a prayer to the families lives that's in shambles from all this.

@anya12adwi you can't tell people what they should already know to stay safe but when they don't do it, it's no 1's fault but their own.

There's been over 100+ killed so far I'd say a lot of families are suffering in a lot of ways.

My in-laws live in Weaverville which is right outside Asheville. The news has been doing live hits from there for days.

@NJChicaa Thank God they are safe, they are bringing supplies to the hardest hit places, it's going to take a LONG time to things back in order.

Same here, I always ask God to protect the weak helpless the elderly, but I guess he knows best without asking.
