The old man is snoring

And the rain is pouring. Autumn is here front and center at my house. I answered a person on Facebook; a neighbor. A religious group said that they wanted to help people for free. A woman said she wanted somebody to walk around the block with her. I chimed in and said: I do, too!! She just messaged me and we ended up having a very friendly phone chat. I am going to meet with her this coming Monday. I will get to meet and maybe be with friends with a neighbor. In two hours I have an appointment with ultrasound techs. They're going to see what is going on with my upper left leg. Maybe it will just be fatty tissue. That sounds good to me. At least the test will be done here in town- I dread the idea of driving in heavy rain on a busy highway. I am grateful that I just have local streets to navigate.

It is nice to be friend with the neighbors. At present, our neighbors are my landlord and his family. There is no need to do outdoor activities with them. First and foremost, his kiddies are snobbish and I do not want to mingle with this kind of character.

@AmbiePam Thanks. The lady is quite a talker. I don't mind the ultrasound. Its that knee surgery that is a cliff hanger.

Sounds like a win with a walking partner and also with not having to drive on the hiway in the rain.
