Drifting about a bit.

I was taken by surprise this afternoon by a burst of unexpected autumn sunshine. I sat in the back garden for half an hour, sheltered from neighbours’ eyes and cold winds and I took a bottle of red wine with me though I only had a glass or two. I drifted about a bit in my mind, hiding behind strange, blue sunglasses. I asked myself “Where are you, where does it feel that you are?” The answer that came to me was Patagonia. And my brother called. He confirmed that in January he’ll be moving from Paris to the Normandy coast with his wife which means I can’t use him as an excuse to visit Paris any longer.

Do you really need an excuse to visit Paris?

@judyev No. just more money. Eating out in Athens was 50% cheaper than doing so in Paris, as was accommodation.

You don't need an excuse to visit Paris! Paris to Normandy is a big change. Have a good day.

I like the weather out there. Unlike mine, we are experiencing heavy rains due to the current typhoon. Students from primary school to high school are not going to have classes today. It was suspended last night.
