The conch diya is used by Hindus to blow away evil spirits

In Mahabharata war mentioned in the holy text Bhagvat Gita for the Hindus it is mentioned that Lord Krishna used the conch to blow away evil spirits in the war. In Diwali the conch diya is used to blow away evil spirits. They are used in diwali.
