And this rice candy wasn't cheap. 5 mochi rolls was 4dollars. But, after an interview and i don't go in that direction often, rather rarely, i stopped by Beijing Duck, Asian food store here and treated myself.
They relocated to a bigger space but, you know, manners of an owner stayed the same so, some things will never change and i mean bad ones.
Boxes near the entrance, store in dark (not the whole dark but enough you don't see prices well), owner barely saying hello, cheaper products missing but those that aren't are there. Prices tagging in question; some are there and some are missing.
I also bought myself 200 grams of Korean kimchi (my main reason to come), dry seaweed salad (not for me, made a mistake with this one), pistachio pudding from Turkey and 1 Korean ramyeon with black bean flavour.
So, going there and not coming back soon or ever, cause of the attitude, i bought what i wanted to buy.
I would come back only and maybe if the store sets a big sale, which it never did so far.
Yep.
And, mochi is good. It has some cherry in it, a small percentage of aroma, all other is a bean paste but, it's not bad and it seems as a nice gift, if you decide to gift people.
I hope you had a nice day today, mylotters.

Some outlets are quite unwelcoming.
And the owners don't seem to be familiar with terms like "Customer Friendly" or "End User friendliness".
It was some hectic day due to preparations for festivals.
The Food Fare sounds quite delicious!!
Have a nice Thursday ahead !!

There are good and inexpensive goods.
But some sellers offer them at a higher price.
