Our property is loaded with curry leaf plants and trees. We planted just one and now they have propagated on their own. One tree is larger than our mango trees and could well qualify for the Guinness Book of World Records. Curry leaves are loaded with nutrients - iron, calcium and several others. If one can get it on a daily basis it may not be necessary for going for artificial supplements. The problem is does every one have access to this precious leaf?

I wouldn't mind having curry leaves in my dishes any day.

@allknowing No, I don't. It's not a popular plant or tree here in my country. I have not even seen dried curry leaves at the supermarket. We only have curry powder to use in our cooking, though I suppose the Indian community here have their own stock of curry leaves.

@almostoveryou Curry powder is usually made with different condiments. I can market these leaves and mint money but I must know how to go about it.

Curry leaves are something I’ve not knowingly tried. I’ve seen them used by chefs on tv shows but never sought them out. As far as I know, we don’t grow curry leaf trees in the UK.

I buy them dried in specialty stores. We do not have fresh curry leaves here.

@LadyDuck Selling anything involves a long winded procedure and that is one reason I have lost interest. I can understand your frustration.

@allknowing I have plenty of laurel leaves, rosemary and sage. The stores sell them in small bags at $ 1 per bag, I throw large bags of everything when I trim, I wish I could sell them.
