This afternoon we went to the big Tesco again. My Mum thinks she was feeling side effects from her flu and COVID jabs, she was feeling a bit weird in the head, not exactly giddy. So when I'd gotten rid of the soft recycle and we'd gone up on the lift, we went to sit on a bench. My Mum gave me £200, and hers and Syd's shopping lists and her club card and double points voucher, and I went round and did the shopping on my own. I saw Noel Fitzpatrick's book Dogs and their humans. It's in hardback and it cost £12.50 with club card. Normal price £14. But I didn't get it. Not yet. I'll wait till my Mum tells me to get it. We might be getting it for Mum's friend Nan Nutt for Christmas. I got a craft box magazine from Chloe. It's got all sorts in it like stamps, a stencil, an embossing folder, a die, and some papers and toppers aswell as the magazine. Then I got some sugar free polo mints for my Mum, 2 bottles of water and 3 packets of seaweed thins. I also treated myself to an aero. I didn't need any prawn layered salads because I made some couscous tofu salad yesterday which lasts me four days. I went and got some MenoHerb for my menopause symptoms, and then I went to look for some pads for my Mum, but I couldn't find any. Next I went to the fruit and veg section and got the usual stuff. I got some green grapes, and some carrots too. But they've moved stuff around again! The carrots are now where the lemons used to be! Mum wanted some vegetable mashed potato, so I got that. But I still couldn't get any edamame beans. I got my yoghurts and Mum's milk, then I got some little strawberry rice puddings for my Mum and Syd for their pudding on Sunday. Then I went and got some Lurpak lighter butter. I also got some tuna and sweetcorn sandwich spread from the end of the isle. Then I went to the vegan and ready meals isle and I got 2 chicken dinners and a Toad in the Hole for my Mum, and 4 packets of meat free bites and some tofu for me. Then from the end of the isle I got some broccoli cheese for my Mum. After that I got some vinegar and some tomato ketchup for my Mum. Then I got 4 lots of Tilda egg fried rice, and I got a curry pot noodle for Syd. Next I went to the cakes, and I got some raspberry turnover for my Mum and Syd for their supper tonight. Then I got them some cherry Bakewells. I got myself some maple syrup and I got my Mum some sweeteners. Then I went to the teas and coffees isle and got some chocolate digestives for Syd and some Love, Corn for me. Then I got some golden syrup puddings for Syd. After that I got some shoe spray for my Mum from the end of the isle. And then it was off to the frozen section where I got some frozen sweetcorn and some frozen white onion. Then round the other isle I got some fish fingers and some battered cod for my Mum. Then I got some salmon chunks, prawn skewers and salt and pepper prawns for me. Next I got two lots of toilet paper, one for me and one for Syd, and some bin liners for the kitchen and toilet bins. And then I went to pay. With club card it came to just over £138. Then I went and sat back by my Mum and I gave her her change, club card and shopping lists. It was still only 4:00pm, so we had half an hour to wait. Mum happened to say that she hadn't seen Nora King in Tesco for a while. A few minutes later who should come along but Nora King! We had a little chat and she asked us how we were and we asked her how she was etc, but then she said she had to go because her sciatica was playing her up! At about 4:20pm we started to make our way to the lifts. When we got into the undercover car park, Syd still wasn't there yet, so we sat on a bench for a few minutes. When Syd came we put the shopping bags into the boot of the car and we went home. When we got home I unpacked the groceries and put them away. Then I had my dinner and watched some telly. Wynne Evans was on Strictly Come Dancing: It Takes Two, the sister show to Strictly Come Dancing. He was talking about how personal last weeks dance was, because of his mental health and all that he's been through, and they showed a clip, including the bit where he stood and burst into song at the end. This week they are doing an American Smooth Fox Trot. What have you lot been getting up to today? I hope you are all well. Have a great night. Nos da!

Oh, it was a very long list! That's strange. I'm sure it should be available on Amazon. Nora King is an old lady we know who used to come to our church. That sounds like fun. I hope you enjoyed that. I hope you enjoyed your Mylotting, and if you're tired you should definitely take a nap!

Thank you very much. I hope so too. Well, I didn't quite get everything. I couldn't get my Mum's pads and I still couldn't get any edamame beans, but I managed to get most of it. You get your groceries delivered? That would be convenient, but then if something was out of stock they might exchange it with something you don't want. (That happened to us a couple of times when my brother Dave ordered our groceries for us during COVID.) And also it means you don't get the exercise.

@sharonelton I order my groceries on Saturday when my SS arrives. I was happy to be able to add $22 to my account through my survey sites and that helps a lot on grocery day,

I just learnt yesterday that the jockey who rode the winning horse in the Melbourne Cup, a very big horse race here, also sang on The Voice. I don't watch the show but I thought that was interesting.

Isn’t it funny how sometimes we think of someone, and then they pop up? I’m not doing much. Cleaning, mostly.

Glad the shopping didn't take up all the £200! Noel Fitzpatrick's book sounds interesting (had to look it up as never heard of him) - are you keen on dogs?

Thank you very much. I'm glad too. Yes. I've already got 4 of Noel's books, 3 of them in paperback. He's one of the best vets in the UK. I like little to medium-sized dogs. I'm not keen on big vicious dogs! I'm not keen on Alsatians. My uncle Chris Yates, where my Great Grandma Cantrell used to live, had an Alsatian when I was little and when we went round there it would bark and scare me and they locked it up in the kitchen while we were visiting. So I like small and medium-sized dogs but not big or vicious looking dogs. But I'm actually a cat person really.
