Oh no, no internet!

am using the internet on my phone, but everything is in a mess around here. It seemed to be the router that was acting up, but I was unable to get that going It kept saying I was connected to the internet and there was a strong signal so I thought maybe some component in the router had failed long story short called technical support had to unplug everything modem not on..and I can't get any help from the provider because they say there is an outage in this area, which probably caused the problems in the first place. Everything in here is connected to the network. I am not going to be able to do much tonight.

@snowy22315 Yay! Ours was out yesterday with trees down in the area due to high winds with this cold front coming in. It was out just about all day long! I have to catch up here today!!

@kareng Well it was out here from Tuesday afternoon.We had it back on Weds. Then I saw for today there was a planned outage between 6 and 7 to reinforce the lines or something. The planned outage took longer than they said it would though..sigh!

Thanks, Thank the Lord it is back today. I had to find the correct power cord, and make sure everything was secure. Luckily, I didn't have to do any changing with the router. I was able to use it as is.

Yes, that is what it is, and I have..but the modem is getting no power now. Something got screwed up. I will be lucky if I don't have to have someone come out here.

I sure hope so. It is very boring in here with no internet,(well only mobile from the phone) plus I am losing money..

I am going to pray tonight that I can get it resolved in the morning. I sure would hate to have to pay them to come out here, and it might not even be right away..gulp!

Thanks, I am not feeling too hopeful, but maybe I'll surprise myself. I just should have refused to unplug the modem.

I always wished they’d tell me when an outage occurs so I don’t start fixing something I can’t do anything about.
But I only use my phone now. You do a lot of stuff that the phone isn’t handy for though, I’m sure. I hope it comes on a lot sooner than you think.

I understand now why you don't have internet access. It's difficult to be without it, especially since we rely on it for Mylotting and other important tasks.
