Counting Down

I'm counting down the days left to work this week. 
Between the time of the year, Christmas shopping, and the Canada Post strike, we have been very busy at work. We always get this busy at this time of the year, so actually the postal strike has little to do with it.
I always take the last week of November off for my final week of vacation for the year.
It will be a fun week to relax, spend time with the twins and just give myself a mental break from it all. I am counting down with only 3 days left til ahhhh time.

@AmbiePam Its great fun, I will say that.
Today they had a friend at playgroup, who just returned from a trip overseas to Iran, bring them each back a little bracelet. The girls were so happy that she remembered them, of course it was her mother, but they were in their glory.

No mail for now.
The strike began last Friday.
Thanks, I took this picture of Willow a few hours ago.
She isn't the girly girl of the 2 of them, but she sure does love her bling, and being a twin, there are 2 of everything. 
Harper loves to put on her little pink tutu and glittery shoes and dance around.

Somebody is very bejeweled there. Is that Willow? Sis usually takes Thanksgiving week off. It is a busy week for her. Lots of tasks. I am thinking of bringing a pineapple casserole. That will be a unique dish to have at the table. You deserve a break too, and can relax a bit before the Christmas rush.

@Juliaacv Maybe some ballet in their future?
Ballet is great for grace and poise but it's Hell on your toes! I had a ballet dancer friend in junior high who broke a couple of hers.

@snowy22315 She more likes the dress up part of it all, as she dances without any grace, although if she wanted to learn it, she would, she is a very smart and determined little girl.
Neither of them like hockey, they dislike the helmets that they have to wear, and they have dropped out of that. Swimming lessons are hit or miss with Harper, some days she prefers to just watch, I think that those are the days that she is just too tired. Willow loves swimming lessons.

She thought that she was really something with all of her beaded jewelry on.
Her twin was dancing around in her sparkly shoes, tutu and imitation fur cape.
They both really love playing dress up, wear a scarf around them, and you will see how quickly they will have that and be wearing it themselves. I try not to wear my infinity scarves around them as I fear that they will choke themselves. I will look for a couple of those eyelash wool scarves that I have which I no longer wear, they might like to play with them.
