I made it official today.

No, didn't get married.
Didn't win the lottery, or decide on anything requiring money or official papers or anything.
I RESTED. I WORE PAJAMAS ALL DAY LONG!!!
Oh, I can hear it now...gee, Marie is soooooo lazy. Maybe I am. This is the first day in weeks I actually managed to get 7 hours of sleep in the same 24 hour period. Granted, it was in 3 parts, but still....it was sleep!! The weather is pretty messy, sloppy snow blowing sideways and high, cold winds. The appointment I had was canceled. Other than the basics of life, I didn't have to go anywhere.
We have food. TV, books, internet. I took a shower and put on clean sweatpants and a warm shirt. It is so, so nice to be rested.
To be rested and to be able to stay home, doesn't sound like much, does it? But oh...it really is!

I can’t even remember having a day like this in a long time. I don’t want to spend every day being this lazy, but oh! It really felt wonderful to just rest.

It was a sloppy cold day outside. Most of the snow didn’t stick because the ground was just to warm, but we had temperatures in the 20’s and low 30’s, and the winds were crazy. Blowing snow made it very hard to see so there were of course wrecks, etc.

@MarieCoyle Well, I consider that a cherry on top o not really getting that much sleep often. A bath or shower can be so refreshing.

People need that, its not fun working all the time. Some times we require rest and relaxation and to look outside at this pretty world to get our brains back. Anyone who disagrees is a jerk or being a jerk.

Well, to be honest it was clean sweatpants and a long sleeved T shirt, in cold weather that’s what I sleep in.

@MarieCoyle I can relate to that since I have to go to the bathroom about 3 times a night due to drinking water before going to bed.
