I’ve written that we’ve decided to sell our caravan. We had a phone call this morning and we have a buyer. We have to deliver it to their property but that won’t be difficult.
He asked if the roof leaks as the caravan is under cover. We’ve always been able to store it under cover but I was reminded of the shed we kept it in at Donnybrook. It was an incredibly tight fit as you can see from the photo and it had to be backed in.
We got better at backing it in but one day it took us over an hour to get it out. It might seem unbelievable but it hadn’t gone in quite straight. After that little episode, we took out the central upright. Vin welded a big steel truss to go across the front and his older brother helped us put it in.
I’ve written about it before I’m sure but hopefully you’ll all forgotten. And now I can’t find a photo of the caravan jammed in the shed. The photo shows a neighbour who brought along his crane affair to help us lift the truss into place. The red upright in the centre of the opening is what we removed.

Congratulations on selling it! Hopefully the new owners won’t have the tight fit with it.
