Boosting One's Energy

My day always starts with drinking a cup of decaffeinated coffee. This is how I boost my energy every day. If I have not drank it, annoyance will be expected. Although I stopped drinking coffee for three years, it is only this year that I started to consume it. You probably use various methods to increase your energy levels. Some of my pals smoke cigarettes to start their days, which isn't a smart habit to begin with. What do you do to boost your energy every day? Image Credit: royalcupcoffee.com

I start my day with a glass of warm plain tea in the morning, which makes me excited to do all the tasks that day.

I am glad you feel that way. I used to drink tea, but it was not popular here in my country. Unless if we are going to consume milk teas and they are not that healthy to drink regularly.

Sometimes I have some home-made pancakes since it is my niece's breakfast every morning. Then, I will have it with my decaf coffee. Once I am done with morning classes online, I will do the walking or hiking in my neighborhood.

Some of my close friends are into energy drinks. It is indeed not a good way to energize oneself by smoking.

@jefferson126 I think it is also the same effect with lesser nicotine consumption. I do not smoke though. Are you?

I sometimes have some turmeric tea. However, it is quite pricey to have them here. Although we can boil the root crop, but I have no time to do it lately.

I boost my energy by staying hydrated, doing a quick stretch or workout, and enjoying a wholesome breakfast.

I used to drink more than 2 cups of coffee before. Three years ago, I stopped drinking it totally. It was only last year that I started to drink coffee until now.

I used to have morning tead, which I usually had in two countries that I lived in before. Since it is not popular in my country, I switched back of drinking coffees.

I used to be a tea drinker before. But then, I cannot find the real jasmine tea here in my country. Unless if I go to the China Town here. However, it is too far away from place.

It is like having a coffee meditation. I like the coffee's aroma, especially the brewed ones. I missed having it, but I cannot find my coffee maker. It is still packed in the storage room since we moved to this place.

@thelme55 If I can only find time, I will do it without any second thought. I am not sure if we are also going to stay long here at my place. It is because the landlord is so inconsistent with his promises to us. So, unpacking is not the option for now. Although I will still find it soon.

@Shavkat I have not found my coffeemaker either. Gladfully, no coffee drinkers are announcing their visit, yet. Maybe I will find the coffeemaker when I am done with unpacking our boxes. We moved house, too.

i don't think it plays a crucial role in my life or that i'd be grumpy without it - but i start my days with tea and coffee. mostly from the habit, not because i need it

I really need it at all cost. Although I can divert my attention to certain things not to feel grump for the day. As much as possible, I do not want to ruin my day because of not having a caffeine in my system.

@Shavkat that's bad, my friend. it's like an addiction (that's what people here say, even though they all have to drink coffee in the morning, or else their head starts hurting)

I am limiting myself to have two cups of coffee every day. I am fine with that. I usually match it with a pancake to complete my breakfast meal.

I missed seeing the sunrise sometimes. Once I wake up early in the morning and had a cup of coffee with a pancake or two, I need to prepare for my morning classes online.

That is a good idea. Since I am a coffee lover, I need to lessen the caffeine intake. It is the reason why I chose decaffeinated brand of coffee this year. I tried to drink two cups of coffee every day.

I avoid the newspaper and electronic media for the first 2 hours after I wake up! I see all the negative news -wars , murders , corruption and inflation and sad events. I totally avoid these ones for the first 2 hours. I also avoid looking at the social medias or instant messages for same reasons. I just focus on working on morning routine and then once done, I slowly check on things. If you ask me -once way to boost energy everyday is by avoiding negativity the first thing in morning. It definitely helps. Atleast it helps me! Good to know your ways of boosting energy. Take care.

You must be surprised that I never checked any news every day, unless my online students requested to have daily news. For the mobile app, I only use one and let it works for me to earn some extra pennies while fixing my cup of coffee earlyin the morning.
