Does the statement "the best things in life are free" resonate with you?

I used to hear from my lovely mother that there is no free in this world anymore. Although she still emphasized that there are some things in this world that can be attained without doing hard work, and that is to spread love and kindness to others. It does make sense when it comes to knowing the real essence of this proverb. Is it a true statement? What comes to mind when reading this proverb? Image Credit: helpclubformoms.com

I just hope that we appreciate free things in this world. The feelings that we share with others are so priceless.

kindness to others can go a long time when it's given right or taken the way it's given, it goes both ways. But if I give & the other just takes without giving back that's not right.

You have a point. Some people are abusive with our kidness. It is not a good thing. If they do this to me, the bond between them should be stopped.

@Shavkat That's why we don't have any friends cause it was all take & not giving back so we just don't bother having friends.

You are right. The more you spread kindness, the more people will spread it.

Indeed. We all breathe the same air that we need to appreciate. It is free to breathe.

i understand it in a way that not everything we're giving has to be materialistic. sometimes the things that are free - like kindness and caring - can mean much more to someone than just the things you can buy with money.

It is indeed tangible things are not free nowadays. I can still remember that some people are more generous in the past than now.

well, sometimes a kind smile or a kind word is free but these days, even that can't be found that easily. air is free for now, as well

Indeed. Most intangible things in this world are free. If some people do this, then they are selfish and greedy.
