Risky Phone Permissions

I am not sure if you noticed that some mobile phones ask for phone permissions, which we can be at risk of permitting to access the device and its apps. It is risky action for us to acknowledge it. Once they have our data, they can sell or share them outright. That is the reason why I changed my phone to another brand because of this primary reason. Regarding smart devices gathering more data than necessary, what are your thoughts? Image Credit: mentormate.com

I think it is out of hand and never grant permissions.

I only choose apps that are legit. The rest will be a big no.

@grenery8 I guess it is. We need to be vigilant with this matter.

I tried not to. At present, I am not using any apps that ask some personal information about me and let them access my phone.

It is also the same thing here. I cannot afford to be scammed by these scammers.

@aureategloom Indeed. I just noticed that Huawei always asks this permission. Before I changed it, I also noticed that it is rejecting my gmail and the like. So, it is not convenient to use it anymore.

I must admit that I also allow some apps. If it is needed to earn extra, why not.

Sometimes when I have to use their service, then I must grant the permission. Or I can't use it. I hope these companies will take good care of my data. If not, I think people will complain about it to the market and they can't be available any more.
