It's Thursday!

And it's almost the weekend!
We had a front move through last night with rain all night long and into the early morning hours. I planned to sleep a little late just because it was raining. Then when I woke up and was checking a few things on my phone while sitting in bed, my future son in law's mother called me. She lives in Virginia and is very lonely. We ended up talking for over an hour!
I then got some chores done outside, fed all the animals and scouted out the yard to see what the wind and rain brought last night. We had a huge limb all out of one of the old pecan trees. I am sure glad that it didn't hit anyone because they would have been knocked out!
Tonight we have our first hard freeze with temps dropping into the 20's. Brrr! I am not looking forward to it but at least it waited until December to happen and not November like last year.
I'm going to get my hair washed while it is above 50 and that will be done! I will head to town later and get a rotisserie chicken for dinner tonight I believe. I need to go get bread anyway so I'm coping out with cooking. Then I will have leftover chicken for making a pot of chicken and dumplings tomorrow!

The wood worm has eating up our guest bed. Have to call a carpenter to get it repaired.

They are looking at Dec. 28th. They are wanting to get married before she goes back to court for the ex trying to get custody of daughter. My daughter and granddaughter are under state protective custody, which sounds good, but just a bunch of BS.

Dishwasher just finished. I'm just thinking about what I want to do. It's been a long day because Its trash day and I got the laundry done. I also had the dishwasher which I don't normally do.

@kaylachan Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays are the biggest sales days there. You just never know about sales, depends on who comes by and what they want!

They did not get made today, perhaps tomorrow. Maybe Sunday. I have to get things ready for post office mailing tomorrow. I have several Farmasi orders to mail out and Ebay orders too. I need to tag things tonight for the flea market. Been slacking there and did not make it there last week at all.

Thanks for the update. I'm glad the branch didn't do any damage. Going to get a break from the s**w and cold on Sunday when it goes up to the high 40s. Hopefully a lot of this white stuff will melt. I'm hoping that my husband's cousin comes today to help me. Have a good weekend.

@freelancermariagrace When I was growing up and had chores to do, my mother assigned me vacuuming. I hated to vacuum with a passion, so I asked if I could mop instead. She hated mopping, so was glad to switch with me. I still hate to vacuum! Lucky we have wooden floors here. Whenever we do have to get the vacuum out, my hubby does it now!

I had a number of things I did today...I wrote a post about it. For the past few hours just been emailing with sis and mother and hunkered down here with the computer. I am planning on watching the Packers and Lions game tonight.

I went to two today! I wanted to get the two canisters of Maxwell House Coffee that were 2 for $12 and the first one only had one. I asked if I could have it for $6 and was told no. I also asked if there were more in the back. I was told no. So I checked out and went to the other one right outside of town. This store is a Dollar General Market. They have fresh meat and produce and a lot more food than the regular Dollar General. Problem there was that the Maxwell House Coffee was NOT on sale! So weird! I got a canister anyway and picked up a couple packages of paper towels and got out of there. I was able to use my $5.00 off coupon since I had the required $25 order, so that made up for missing the sale price some.
