Lucky Me?

Did someone send me a shipment of goods that l did not order - or could it be a surprise Christmas gift?
This morning l received a message on my phone supposedly from USPS. It stated that my shipment of goods is being held at the warehouse. It cannot be delivered because my address is incomplete. I should send my full address within 48 hours so that the delivery could be made.
I have not ordered goods from anywhere online, so l am wondering if this is a scam. Have you ever received similar messages?

Holy Mackerel ... I got the same message this morning. Unless we know the same person that's sending both a gift I think it's safe to assume it's a scam.

I get that message all the time. I report it as a scam and block the number that sent it to me. They just change their phone number and send it again. It's annoying.

@Kandae11 Yes, they do that... They send me a link and want me to go online and fix my address. Yeah, I'm not opening any links from numbers I don't know.

I don't get messages. I got calls a lot of times saying that I have a package at their warehouse, waiting to be delivered to me. It's a scam.

It has all elements of scam. Once you give your address, they would mention that partial or full payment needs to be done and you would do that. You would either recieve a worthless parcel or nothing at all.If your friends or near or dear ones had send something , they would have provided full address. In case they did not , let it return to them and they will get in touch with you. Do not give your address or any other information which can be manipulated or exploited. Cannot believe scammers are still trying the old tricks in book especially during Christmas. You have a great day ahead!
