I have been craving Brussel Sprouts, so tonight I fixed baked chicken, Brussel Sprouts, and mashed taters. I ate more Brussel Sprouts than anything else. Must be something in them that my body needed. I don't usually crave certain foods, but when I do...you can bet my body Needs them.
Looked up Brussel Sprouts and found this "Brussels sprouts are packed with nutrients like Vitamin C, Vitamin K, folate, fiber, and a compound called sulforaphane, which are considered "good stuff" as they offer various health benefits including supporting immune function, promoting healthy bones, potentially fighting cancer, and acting as a powerful antioxidant; they also contain important minerals like calcium, iron, and potassium."
Hope everyone had a good weekend and good food!

I have tried different ways of fixing them. Have seen a recipe where you bake them with parmasean cheese..tried it, but really didn't come out very well. Didn't have any REAL parmasean cheese. I grew Brussel Sprouts when I lived in KY...had little sprouts up until the first snow.

@Ghostlady Yeah, there's lots of ways to cook them for sure. I did a version with Parmesan cheese and bacon, but I'd have to remember what I did to make them again. They were really good though, and I just used grated Parmesan.

I love Brussels sprouts especially the way Red Lobster and Longhorn Steakhouse fix them. Have a good day.
