This totally astounded me. The Norwegian Aqua cruise liner is launching a new cruise ship in 2025. What makes it different? A world’s first magnet powered hybrid water slide and rollercoaster propelling passengers at speeds up to 30km/h aboard the gigantic ship. The Aqua Slidecoaster might be great for some but perhaps other would like to try The Drop which is a 10-story plunge slide clinging to the edge of the ship.
There is also a glass bridge and an infinity-edged pool for awesome ocean views. If that doesn’t do it for you, head to the Glow Court, a sports complex with an interactive LED sports floor that transforms into a nightclub for nighttime entertainment.
Personally my first opinion is I could never afford this, second I am scared of heights, and third – How in the world is this gigantic ship gonna stay afloat? So who’s going on a cruise?

@TheHorse I have never been due to the prices but what's your story?

In my younger days, I would have went for that . . . but now I just don't know. If I were to go on a cruise, I just want to enjoy a boat trip for what it is . . . I wouldn't need whistle and bells activities like crazy rides. I'd probably be more interested in the food .

I would think that would be too risky.
If they hit a sandbar, which plenty of those large ships do, wouldn't it derail the carts on the roller coaster?
I would say pick one or the other, either a cruise or an amusement park, but the 2 would be very loud and somewhat scary together.

Sounds like an interesting cruise liner, but their price to take a cruise on it, is probably astronomical.Somebody has to pay for all those goodies.

If I went on a cruise on that ship, I would not ride on any of those rides.

@LeaPea2417 I understand you but you would be paying a higher price just because the rides were there, Then you should take a regular cruise ship.

The roller coaster slide scares me as well inside of a ship.

Not me. I don't care for cruises and I don't want to travel 30km/h or drop 10 stories. Have a good weekend. P. S. My husband and I always thought that cruise ships were too top heavy and would end up like the Poseidon.

This new stuff sounds great for the cruise ship and their sales for the new year. People may want to book the cruise just to see all of that.
