Today I had the second temporary nerve pain block in my neck. Thankfully, it worked for about seven hours which was really a good result.
But when it wore off, it REALLY wore off. It's eased off some after Gabapentin and an ice pack, but now we just have to get the longer lasting injection appointment made and approval from Medicare.
Tell you what, bud, getting old isn't for the faint of heart. Once I get the neck injection, I need another ablation procedure on my back again.
Did I mention I have bronchitis again? Actually, I've had it for almost two months now, but have to see my PCP after Christmas. Went to Urgent Care yesterday and got more meds for it.
Okay, I'm through complaining. Maybe.
I really do have so much to praise God for...He's still healing and blessing me, far beyond I could ever deserve.
Hoping to feel better for Christmas. Please pray for our daughter Tammy with a severe kidney infection.
I pray everyone of you will be well this Christmas. All the money in the world can't buy good health, but God is so gracious and merciful.

Praying that Tammy has a swift recovery. I'm glad the block helped. I hope you can get the real one sooner than later. I'm sorry you still have bronchitis. I pray you feel better soon. The photo is wonderful! Try and have a good weekend.

Oh, Vicki. Bless your heart. I hope you all are going to feel better soon. I feel like we need a team of doctors around you, trying to to fix everything as soon as possible. And Tammy sure doesn’t need a kidney infection. I’m thankful you can keep a good attitude about it all. And thank you for reminding me of all I have to be thankful for myself.
