We went to the big Tesco today instead of Wednesday, because Wednesday is Christmas day obviously. We did the same as what we would have done on a Wednesday. But as we were approaching in the car, there was a bit of a traffic jam. My Mum said, I think it's going to be a bit crowded today, and I said, I think you're right! When we'd gone up on the lift, my Mum said to me, Do you want me to come round with you? And I said, I think it'd be best if you sat on a bench! So we went and found a bench, and Mum gave me her and Syd's shopping lists, her club card and £260 in £20 notes. I set off. There was a lady by the end of the flowers offering people quality street chocolates, but when she offered me one, I politely declined. I went and got some magazines. I couldn't get any last week, so I made up for it this week. I got the Artist and Leisure Painter magazines together in the same bag, an Artists and Illustrators magazine and an SFX magazine that has Doctor Who on the front. I then got 1 bottle of water and 3 lots of sushi. One of the sushi's was for tonight. I then went and got a black 2025 diary for Mum to give to Syd. I then went and got some Vitamin D tablets for Syd. Next I went to the fruit and veg section and got some pomegranate seeds, green grapes, 2 lots of strawberries, blueberries, spring onions and rocket lettuce. I wanted to get some cranberries but I couldn't find any. I went to the next isle and got bananas, walnuts, some sprouts for my Mum and some carrots. Round in the next isle I got 1 sweet potato and at the other end I got 2 parsnips.. After that I went and got 2 bottles of milk. I couldn't find any Brandy Cream, or any vegan Brandy Cream for me. But I did find some plant based whipping cream, so I got that for me. I got my yoghurts and some strawberry rice puddings for my Mum and Syd. Then I went and got some tuna and sweetcorn sandwich filling for my Mum, ans and then I went to the vegan and ready meals isle. I got Mum a fish pie for tonight's dinner, and a 2 roast chicken dinners for Sunday. I couldn't get my vegan pizza, so I got a spicy prawn one instead. I hope it's not too spicy. I got some tofu, 3 packets of meat free bites, some vegan pieces to go with next Monday's lunch, some vegan pigs in blankets (they were on the top shelf, I must have missed them last week!) and a plant based wreath with cranberries on top (so I will be having cranberries in some form!) Then I got Mum some cauliflower cheese. Next I got some grated cheese for my Mum and some mini pork pies. I got myself 2 lots of salmon fillets, and at the end of one of the isles I got myself some salmon canopies. I rhen found some brandy cream! I picked up this big pot of pouring brandy cream, but then I found out it was leaking! So I put it back! Then I found a smaller pot of pouring brandy cream, so I put that in.my trolley. But then I found some extra thick brandy cream. There were only two small pots left so I got those! Then I found some plant based brandy cream so I got that for me. After that I got some ground cinnamon for me and some cranberry sauce for Mum. Then I went and got 3 packets of Tilda egg fried rice, and a tin of vegetable soup and a Chinese chow mein pot noodle for Syd. Then I got some egg custard slices for my Mum and Syd for their supper tonight. I got some crisps for Syd and some Alpen for my Mum. Then I went and got some toilet paper and some dettol surface cleaner for Syd. I also managed to get some of the Tesco handwash liquid that I couldn't get last week. I looked for some blue food bags but couldn't find any. Then I went to the till. The guy infront of me had a deep trolley which was packed to the top and it wouldn't all fit on the conveyor! His wife was packing stuff at one end and he was putting more stuff on the other end when the conveyor moved up! When he'd put all his stuff on and put down one of those plastic dividers, I started putting my stuff on. I picked up the grated cheese and found it had brandy cream on it from the pot that had been leaking! Fortunately I had a tissue in my pocket and I wiped it off with that. I packed the bags and paid for the stuff. It came to just over £155. It was 4:28pm when I'd finished. I went back to my Mum on the bench and showed her the diary I'd got for her to give to Syd. I then gave her back her shopping lists, club card and change. I went and swapped my book at the Tesco book swap and told my Mum to catch up with me. I left a Countryfile book that I'd got for Christmas a couple of years ago that I didn't want. A fella picked it up immediately and said, Did you just put this here? And I said Yes. And he said, Why? And I said, Because I don't want it! I said It was an unwanted Christmas present from last year, but don't tell anyone! So he took the book and left some money for it! I picked up a book in exchange, and then I waited for my Mum to catch up with me. Then we went down on the lift. It was 4:35pm by the time we got down into the undercover car park, and Syd was there waiting for us. So we put the bags in the boot and went home. I said to my Mum, If that was how long it took me going round on my own, imagine what we would have been like if you came with me!. When we got home we unpacked the groceries and put them away. I only just managed to get all my stuff in the fridge! Then I had my dinner, which consisted of sushi, a packet of meat free bites and a mini vegan yoghurt, and watched some telly. What have you lot been getting up to today? I hope you are all well. Have a great night.

Oh, yes! And even with me walking round on my own, and I'm quicker than my Mum, we were still late getting back into the car park! Imagine how much later we would have been if my Mum had come round with me?! What are you baking?

Oh, my! You should have seen all the people in Tesco! I've never seen so many people in Tesco all at the same! Why have you come down to Manchester?

Yes, it was. It was a very big shop. I was expecting it to cost more than that. But we also got some savings with the Tesco club card, so that was good.
