Are you a gift bag person, or a gift wrapper?

Well, are you a gift bag user, or a wrapper? I used to wrap everyone’s presents, and I’d get really creative in how I adorned the paper. Two years ago, I just got weary of it, and went to all gift bags. As you can see, on Christmas morning this year, Annelyn was very happy to open her present from grandpa and grandma.

I used to do both. I would tailor it to the person. Now I don't really have anyone to do that stuff for.

That is the funniest and cutest expression on Annelyn's face!
I do both, bags and boxes. I love the printed boxes that are so easy to use.

@AmbiePam We have two or three gift boxes that seem to show up at Christmas and circulate among us. Everybody knows to save them.

I am more of a gift bag person than a gift wrapper person.

@MarieCoyle That gift to Annelyn...which brought such a great expression on her face, would only fetch a disappointed look out here....expectations are clothes, or bicycles..or such stuff...expensive...

I have always preferred wrapping. I enjoy wrapping things and I prefer to unwrap than to just open a bag. I find gift bags to be far too grown up for my liking

Yes, it is a grown up thing to do, which is probably why I always feel I’m cheating when I do it.
Maybe next year if I clear my living room out a bit, I’ll have room to spread everything out, and really put in an effort to wrap gifts like I used to.

It depends like gift bags, but wrapping is cheaper .Some gift bags are really beautiful. She should have fun with that dollhouse I think sis might have gotten one for. Christmas one year, but we both played with itII,

I got some gift bags free this year and last year, so that most likely influenced my decision to do gift bags. Because yes, gift bags add up. I always reuse the ones someone gets me, but they still wouldn’t add up to be enough for everyone the following year.

I have become a bag user. Although I do enjoy the suspense of receiving a beautifully wrapped parcel I am quite unable to produce one for my gifts to others. So the bag is useful, it can be enhanced with ribbons and my artistic friends usually do this. The bag must be one that can be recycled of course.

Ahhh--love it!
I still wrap. For me, just sticking something in a bag is impersonal--but that's me.

@AmbiePam Yes, that's true, though the only kids in my life just want gift cards.

She looks so happy and excited, it is a really good picture of her.
I usually wrap gifts for the family, but if we are invited to a party for someone that isn't family, I tend to use gift bags.
It is fun to dress them all up with tissue paper and ribbon.

Last year I was a gift bag user. This year, I wrapped all the gifts. Not good at it though.

I do both. I inherited a ton of boxes, bows and wrapping paper that was my mama’s. I’m using it for her.

I do both. I only have 3 gifts per year to give out; and they're usually a gift card, sometimes with another small gift. Cute picture. Have a good day.

I use gift bag for most occassions. It is more convenient and easy , plus you would save time and effort in case you are doing the wrapping. Most times, I have noticed people are not very appreciative of gift wraps as were during the earlier times. However , for special occasions, I have the gift wrapped well. It needs to be very special according to me, to have the gift wrapped. Plus , if the people like the wrapping , then that gives a bigger motovation to have things wrapped. I still do it but it has become rare. Happy to see Annelyn happy to see with her present for Christmas. Enjoy the weekend!
