Today's trip to the big Tesco. (30/12/2024)

We went to the big Tesco today instead of Wednesday because Wednesday is New Years Day. My Mum took a long time getting ready, so we didn't get there until 3:00pm, and I'm usually half way round the shop by then! I got rid of the soft recycle first, then found a trolley and waited for my Mum to join me, then we went up on the lift. My Mum went and sat on a bench, and gave me £200, her club card and shopping list. Then I went off to get the shopping. I got some flowers first, then I went to look at the magazines. They'd put the housekeeping and garden magazines where the craft magazines used to be, so I went round the end of the isle to see if they were there. I found a diecutting magazine which just had free dies with it, and another that had dies and an embossing folder. But none had stamps or stencils, so I didn't bother. I went round the other side and I saw this magazine with coloured pens and pencils, a sketching pencil, a rubber and pencil sharpener. But it was really meant for kids. It had a Frozen magazine with it, a bit like one I got a while back! So I got it! Then I got a vegan food magazine. I went and got 2 bottles of water and 3 lots of sushi. Then I went to look for some New Year cards for my Mum, but I couldn't find any. I couldn't get any pads for my Mum either, but I did get some panty liners for myself. Then I went to the fruit and veg section. I got some blueberries, even though I haven't started the last ones yet! I got some spring onions and some little gem lettuce for my Mum. Then I got myself some soy milk because mine's running low. I got some Brazil nuts for myself, and some bananas. I went round the other side and got some mashed potato for my Mum. After that I got 4 bottles of milk for my Mum and some vegan yoghurts for me. Then I got some puddings for my Mum and Syd for Sunday. Next I went to the vegan and ready meals isle and I got a vegan pizza. Then I got 4 lots of meat free bites. I got 2 beef dinners for my Mum and Syd for Sunday, and some bangers and mash. Then I got some cauliflower cheese from the end of the isle. Then I went and got some sliced buns, and then I got some egg custard tarts for my Mum and Syd for tonight. I got some sugar. Then I went and got some pringles and a walkers multipack of crisps. I After that I went and got some Matcha green tea T-bags, and some Typhoo T-bags. Then I went and got some honey cheerios for Syd. Then it was off to the frozen section and I got some frozen chopped garlic for me. I got some jacket potatoes and some chips for my Mum. I got some f a g g o t s from the other side, then I got some gastro battered fish. They are posher than the regular battered fish. I also got them 2 mini pizzas. Next I went and got some baking paper and some food bags. (The reason I couldn't get them last week is because I wss looking in the wrong place!) Then I went into the next isle and I got some washing up liquid. Then I went to pay. There were some long queues at the tills again. It came to just over £127. After I'd packed the bags and payed I went to sit by my Mum on the bench. I gave her her change, club card and shopping list. It was still only 4:15pm when I went to sit on the bench, so I did really well! Mum had told Syd to come back for us at 4:45pm because we were late setting off, so we had a few minutes to wait. I opened my Brazil nuts and are some of them while I was waiting! Then we made our way down on the lift. Syd was there when we got into the undercover car park, so we put the bags in the boot and set off for home. When we got home we unpacked the groceries and put them away. Then I had my dinner and watched some telly. Later I took the laundry upstairs and pegged some of it up on the clothes dryers. What have you lot been getting up to today? I hope you are all well.
