@andriaperry I can imagine. They don't deal with winter weather very well here in Southern Illinois either. We'd get a 10" drop in Wisconsin and the roads and alleys would all be cleared in a couple of hours.

At least Noccalula Falls has water going over it again. A few months ago it was more like “Noccalula Drip.”

Here? Cold and sunny, soon to be colder and sn*wy. I’d be escaping if I didn’t have a doctor’s appointment and there wasn’t a possibility of sn*w down south where I’d be escaping to. So I wait…and tell the weatherman who keeps saying “bring on the sn*w” that HE is in charge of cleaning HIS sn*w out of MY driveway.

Oklahoma too gets coldest in January and February. It’s been very nice lately, but starting Sunday, I believe, it drops down in the 20s and 30s.

I know you don't like the winter..I don't mind it if I don't have to drive in the snow and ice..which I don't. But the heat and humidity I remember down south..bad, but it was those dang skeeters that got to me

We had mild temperatures, by our standards, until today. Today and further tonight, we will get colder and colder. But it is January, so better in January than in March or April, because sometimes it happens then too. Get cozy and stay warm.
