Even homeless people need money, right? They need to eat! Who gives them free food?

@mishocat05 There is a business here that feeds them three meals a day. But they still need money for clothes, blankets, a coat and shoes.

It is possible to survive without money but not easy for those with no choice. They might rely on the kindness of strangers, live on the streets, forage for food, etc.
Being truly self-sufficient and actually having a life without money is possible but, I would argue, that's only possible if you have money to begin with. If you're farming your own food, maintaining your own power source, managing your own health, and not having to rely on outside support. Depending where you live, though, there's a good chance there will something you have to pay (taxes, costs of emergencies or unexpected things).

Nope. I don't think so. We can live from hand to mouth. But living penniless is impossible especially we have a 9 -year old kid.

We humans always used money in form or the other. Till the actual coins were invented , we use to do barter system in terms of exchange. Then came with copper , silver and gold coins in almost all countries in world. And then came paper and digital currencies. So money would definitely continue to exist in our societies in one form or the other to faciliate the buying and selling. With the more complex digital things arising , do not think money would not continue to exist. Plus , we definitely be acquainted to live with money in one form or the other , even if it takes the minimal lifestyle route. Take care!
