What you see is not what you're trying to create

It doesn’t matter much what subject you think about, there will have been changes made over the years. Jigsaws are no exception. From being a cimple puzzle, jigsaws are now made in the shape of, say, an animal, or maybe a circle.
My friends and I just finished one which had a picture of a vet’s waiting room with everyone sitting serenely waiting their turn to see the vet. You were supposed to use your imagination and make a picture of ‘what happened next’. Once we got it finished, it showed a ram charging through the waiting room, scattering the vet and everyone else in its path.
Now I’m working on another that you can see in the photo. These people are playing board games back in the 50s or 60s. The finished puzzle should show modern-day home entertainment of people playing video games. At least, I think that’s what it will turn out to be. I’ll put another photo up when I get it finished – which might be next year!

That really sounds interesting! I hope you're enjoying the puzzles! I'm not sure I'd be able to do puzzles like that.

@JudyEv I'm glad it's you putting it together and not me.
By the way, we're getting more snow if you'd like some. I'm more than willing to share with you.

@DaddyEvil Our son in Ireland is getting plenty of storms and cold weather too. Maybe I'll just stop complaining about the heat and turn on the A/C.

It looks like a fun one. My one nephew is kind of a puzzler, and he built a gigantic multi colored eagle one over Christmas, He must have spent alot of hours on that thing.

A thousand pieces takes a while to do but even longer if you don't really know what you're trying to make.

Wow, that’s going to be tough, especially with a thousand pieces! Good luck!

Sometimes when I do puzzles on my computer, they have Mystery Puzzles. You can not see what the puzzle is finished. All the puzzles in the pack have question marks on them, but I figure if they are blue colored, there must be a sky or water, so I do them first. The regular ones I do, you can see what the puzzle looks like and have the picture on the area where you work the puzzle. The puzzle you are talking about I have never seen...sounds like a challenge..Might have to see if I can find them here.

I'm not sure I'm as sharp as I need to be to do this one. It's proving very difficult.

Patience is needed for such puzzles and I have none

I like that idea. I used to like puzzles that were mystery ones. And I had done 3d ones before.

I haven't successfully done a 3D one yet so you're way ahead of me.
