I have clogged nose for 4 weeks now starting around Dec. 15. It won't go away. I didn't have allergjes or severe cold. It just feel that my nose is clogged. I went to a public clinic and they just told me to take cetirizine. Last Thursday we already go to a private hospital. They prescribed nasal irrigation, anti allergies and antibiotics. I hope it will work after a week. Happy Saturday

I hope it gets better. For someone like me who has allergic rhinitis, its nothing new. In cold season it acts up even warm weather can also be a trigger. Anything can actually be an allergen for me. But I do have maintenance nasal sprays and cetirizine is also something I take daily continuously for months and then a short break then back at it again. That's life for someone with allergies and if it isn't enough reactive airways, is another thing for me lol.

This is really new to me. Most clogged nose relieves after a week but not this one. No nasal polyps are seen

@averygirl72 No polyps—that’s great news! But if the real cause of your clogged nose hasn’t been identified, it’s likely that the problem won’t go away completely. Proper diagnosis is really important to confirm if it’s truly an allergy or something else. You mentioned they prescribed nasal irrigation, anti-allergy meds, and antibiotics. I hope these work for you and bring some relief! If not, it might be worth discussing further with your doctor. Antibiotics got me curious—are they suspecting a bacterial sinus infection? Because antibiotics won’t help if the issue is caused by a virus or an allergy. So, what’s the real culprit behind your persisting clogged nose—an allergy, an infection, or something else?? Whatever... I just wish you well.

Sometimes basic saline solution will do the trick. You can get it over the counter. The heat will cause your nose and lining to dry out and get stuffy. This helps a lot.
