A little bit crazy

Over half of MY staff is out for days with some type of cold, one went to the doctor and can't come back to work till Saturday, I sent two home early, a different day for each. One called in because he didn't have a ride to work. Meaning, that I had 2 people to run registers, I had to pull a stocker the last hour to help me and the assistant manager up front.
The weather is a " I don't know" from the weather prediction people. We are going to be in the 60's a couple days and then 30's a week with single digits at night. Snow? Maybe. Ice? Maybe.
The city is on my back, which can be a good thing for me but the price is what's a huge concern of mine.
Oh well, I'll keep praying and I know everything will be alright.
How's life treating you?

There's so much going around these days that I'm not surprised that you are short-staffed with people being out sick.

@andriaperry being sick is one thing but having to go to work is so much worse.

This already went through the store when school started, I was included as sick but still had to work.

@andriaperry I'm with you. Whatever problems you have, they are worse in the winter and better when it is warm outside.

Our weather sounds the same as yours. I hope things go good for you with the city.

@Tampa_girl7 What are they saying for the Jackson, MS area? They have forcasted 1-3 inches of snow down our way.

It is no fun to be short staffed but you just have to make it work, or close.

@andriaperry I do too. I was just looking at the forecast again. Our low now for Tuesday night is 16 degrees and that is before the wind chill is factored in. It looks like a single digit night and it doesn't get above freezing the following day. Oh boy.

I heard we could get some snow/sleet again here early next week. I hope it is nothing major.

You sure have your hands full, and I hope you can manage it all. It just keeps getting colder here in Florida. My sciatica is stabbing me, and my cat Freddie is caterwauling. Are we having fun yet?
