Got Her Hitched!

As you may know from my previous post that my oldest daughter got married again this past Saturday. This is her 3rd marriage and hopefully the last!
The wedding was beautiful! They both wrote their own vows and we had very little "Oops" before the wedding.
The first oops was my grandson not being able to find his belt. I had to laugh because I bought a new belt for my husband for the wedding and he couldn't find it when packing so threw in his old belt. At least he had a belt on! My grandson went without.
Next was we are following my daughter and her Maid of Honor to the Church when I get a phone call from her. She just discovered that she left her vows back at the house so they were turning around and going back to get them. This of course, delayed the start of the wedding since we were already arriving a little bit late.
The ceremony was beautiful. They had touching vows that brought tears to just about everyone. My granddaughter, who is six and was the flower girl, managed to make it all the way through the ceremony. She did however just sit down when she got tired of standing.

She looks simply beautiful. I hope that the ''third time is the charm!'' and they live a happy life together.

@MarieCoyle Right. Her first two were both cheaters. The last one a total loser, but we have remained friends with the first one for my grandson's sake. His parents were devastated and apologized to us for his misbehavior. We all learn from mistakes and he was certainly thrown a blow on his decision. The girl he cheated on with got pregnant with twins, she was a mental case, took them and rain to the north and was living with them (toddlers) at the time in her car. A year later she came back to LA and dropped kids off at his house and took off again. Now she is back and pops in whenever she feels like it. He has since gotten a very good job in Baton Rouge and has moved in at his parents with the kids. So the mom is not around the kids much, which is best. They never got married.

That means a lot, for sure. I know my 2 son in laws and my daughter in law (spouses of the 3 out of 4 kids of mine that are married) are truly wonderful people, and I am so thankful. My oldest girl's first husband was very verbally, and in the end, physically abusive to her, and no one misses him at all.

So cute about your granddaughter. Her sitting down made me giggle!
Your daughter and son in law look wonderful. She picked out a wonderful dress. I didn’t know people wore veils after their first marriage. Hers looks very much like the one I wore to my first wedding.
I hope the third time is the charm for her .

@kareng would love to see it! She looks very young to be on her first marriage. How old is she? I always thought when people get married so often they are the problem but I’m on my second marriage and am sure my husbands mental abuse is the problem. I sure know how to pick ‘em

I have to give the kid credit. I once , no several times, got scolded for sitting in curch when I wasn't supposed to. I get it. I'm glad the wedding went well.

@kaylachan Yes, and she was quiet! This one is a motor mouth and live wire, so she did excellent!

I'm so glad to hear that your daughter's wedding went smoothly. Having them write their own vows definitely made it more personal and touching. Even with a few small hiccups, the ceremony was beautiful. Congratulations to your whole family!
