Black rice / myLot

Do you like black rice or brown rice? They say they are healthier than white rice. I really don't have appetite to eat if they mix this in our regular rice. For me they taste like paper. But I have no choice but to eat them Today is holiday here to celebrate Chinese New Year. Happy Wednesday

I have heard a lot about black rice but have never tasted it. Would like to eat it someday, Brown rice is something very common. It is said to be a beneficial to diabetic patients. I have tried cooking them it. The problem is I don't trust these brands. Often they are just colored, as once while washing all brown color leached out leaving me with white rice. Since then I haven't bought them. There are many brands but I don't trust them.

It's usually branded and it's not just colored but organic rice

@averygirl72 Yes, the rice I was talking about was branded. I have stopped buying anything from that company. Maybe if I get my hands on a genuine product, I don't mind using it.
