Happy Monday Everyone! woke up to snow this morning (ugh). I'm so tired of winter and just feeling blah most of the time. Our groundhog said 6 more weeks of winter which gets a bigger ugh from me. Of course I don't put any faith in what a groundhog predicts so I'm hoping for an early spring.
I didn't sleep well last night and then fell asleep and woke up to my alarm going off. I just feel so groggy this morning and my coffee hasn't worked it's magic yet.
Don't think I'm going to accomplish much today which is a perk of being retired...nothing that has to be done.
I started a new book over the weekend so I'll probably read this afternoon and maybe take a nap.
That's my boring day in a nutshell. How's your day going>

You could come visit for a few days, if you want to get away from the cold. We're at 68F right now and are supposed to hit 75F by late this afternoon.
From the weather map, it looks like all the cold air systems will go North of us until next Sunday when we drop back down to highs in the upper-40s. A week long warm-ish visit doesn't sound too bad, does it?
I hope you have a good day.

@Marilynda1225 The temp here made it to 72F this afternoon. I was asleep but Pretty said she stepped out to get the mail and it was lovely.
We'd love it if you came to spend a few days visiting.

I wish I could just teleport myself there right now. Your temperatures sound wonderful and my old bones would certainly be happy. Of course visiting you and Pretty would just add to it being fun.

I don’t pay any attention to what the groundhog says either. I always thought it was a 50/50 change he would be right but from what someone said it’s much less accurate than that.
I finished a Danielle Steel book yesterday and started a Nicholas Sparks book.

I agree about being retired. some days I do almost nothing then I'll have a burst of energy and get a lot done.

Had Chinese dim sum lunch with my friend from US today. We'll have Japanese lunch on Thursday.

I got up with my 5 a.m. alarm, as if I was going to work. Then turned on my heated throw and sat in my chair and slept an hour and 45 minutes. I was feeling blah as well. I felt better when we hit the road for Bob's appointment. We were at 60 in Emporia.

It went pretty well actually. Everything seemed to go according to plan. How often does that happen?

I can relate.
I began with stomach issues last night around 10pm, and was up about every hour or so.
I called in sick today.
The stomach issues have finally stopped, but I haven't eaten besides a banana and an apple and peanut butter.
I feel weak, and very tired.
I slept for the majority of this morning.
I will try to stay up for as longer this time, so that I can sleep tonight.
It is above freezing and really foggy here today, perfect weather for sleeping.
