As long as they are not biting me. I saw one a few years back that was full of mange the poor thing, there on the trail I was walking. Since I am not near that trail anymore, I don't walk it. I wouldn't anyway now as it is far from the nice trail it used to be. It is not safe. Do you have coyotes near you or a trail to walk in nature?

No, we don't find them here in the city but have heard and seen them in the village. I won't like to see them. As @daddyevil said they normally don't attack adults but on the kids but still they are dangerous and may bite and harm.

We have them in the woods here. I hate it when they howl at night. I've had them come in the yard and try to get into the chicken coop at night. Years ago when I let the chickens free range, a coyote snatched a rooster and took off with him. It was about 9:30 am. I don't let them out anymore.

They don't seem to have much of a life. I worked with the Wolf foundation here years ago and I love to hear to wolves howl.

We have seen them on occasion in the streets of the "burbs" - not even that close to the hills. I think they will sometimes roam through the flood controls. But certainly we've seen them on our hikes/trails.

@RebeccasFarm As I live in the city, I seldom see special animals. I mainly see dogs, cats, birds, sometimes butterflies.

We have some lakes and such where I could walk. Or the vacant field across from my house. I did not mind coyotes when I could hear them at my grandparents' but hearing them right nearby here in "town" was a little disturbing.

Sad how things fall apart like that over time. Likely no one taking care of it anymore I assume? I had a coyote that was about 20 feet from my down back of my house one day. It ran off thankfully. The are all over this area but are sneaky so it was first time I had seen one.
