On Wednesday I went to the big Tesco again. Mum stayed at home because she didn't have time to put her shoes on, or some such excuse. I posted a competition entry first, then I go rid of the soft recycle and went up on the lift. I got some flowers, then I went to get some magazines. I got a Doctor Who magazine, a stamping magazine and a Vegan food magazine. (When I got home I realised I'd already got this issue. The new issue comes out this week!) I got 2 bottles of water and a salmon poke for my dinner. I didn't get any sushi as I wanted to try something else. I got some multi vitamins and iron and 2 packets of soothers for Syd, and I got some Nurofen lemon meltlets for me. I went and got some pads for my Mum. Then I went to the fruit and veg section. I got the usual stuff, plus some beetroot, some baby cucumbers and a grapefruit for me. I got milk, my yoghurts and some strawberry rices for my Mum and Syd for their pudding on Sunday. Then I got some Danish blue cheese for Syd and some mini pork pies. I got my pizza and 4 packets of meat free bites for me, and 2 fish pies and 2 Shepherd's pies for Mum. I also got her a cauliflower cheese from the end of the isle. Next I got some crinkle cut gerkins for Syd, and some tomato ketchup with less sugar and salt. After that I got some soy sauce for me, and some Tilda egg fried rices for Mum. I then went and got some brown and wild rice. I then looked for some chickpeas. I knew I'd seen some somewhere, but they weren't where the rices were, so I went back to the other end of the isle, and they were there, so I got some of them. Then I got a curry pot noodle for Syd, and a half and half loaf. Then I went to the cakes. I got some cream scones for Mum and Syd for their supper, and it was Mum's turn to take the cakes to the house group, so I got about 5 lots of cakes for that. They were mostly Mr Kipling, but one was Cadbury chocolate mini rolls. Next I went and got some ginger biscuits for Syd, and then it was straight to the frozen section. I got a box of microwave chips for Syd, and then I wanted to get some jacket potatoes for my Mum. I could reach up to them, so I got out my walking stick and hooked one box and pulled it forward. It fell into the bottom freezer, and it fell out of reach again! I tried to pull it forward with my walking stick again, but it wasn't working. I did eventually manag to reach it though, and grabbed it and put it in my trolley. Then I got a big bag of chips, some chicken burgers, and some fish in batter for Mum and some prawns for me. After that I got 2 lots of toilet paper, one for me and one for Syd, and then I went to pay. It came to just over £160. I went and sat on a bench. It was still only 4:00pm, so I read some of the vegan food magazine. At about 4:25pm I went down on the lift. When I got into the undercover car park, Syd was already there. So we put everything in the boot and went home. When I got home we unpacked the boot. I gave Mum her change, club card and shopping list, then I unpacked the groceries and put them away. I had my dinner and watched some telly, then I put the recycle out ready for the recycle bin man on Thursday. Mum went out to the house group. Stuart came to pick her up, and he put the cakes in the boot. (I did put them in a Tesco bag for my Mum. I I watched some more telly, then I put the flowers out, and went out to put the old flowers and the offcuts in the garden waste bin. So, what have you lot been getting up to? I hope you are all well. Have a nice day.

@sharonelton I did a small ASDA shop, filled up the bird feeders in the back garden, did two loads of washing and spent half an hour in my quest to recover the Old Testament Hebrew that I used to be so good at. Now I’m in the library, sat now far from a burping man.

I hope you got everything you wanted from your ASDA shop. I'm glad you are helping to feed the birds in this unpredictable weather. I do our laundry on a Monday. It sounds very interesting about the Old Testament Hebrew. I've got a couple of books about Old Testament Hebrew, and I used to know my Alephbet. I have a DVD somewhere where there was a little song to help you remember it. I have a Bible in Welsh, because I'm trying to learn Welsh. I'm sorry you were in the library with a burping man. I hope he wasn't too offputting!

We took our motor-home away for two days so yesterday we unloaded it and now I'm doing laundry and some housework. Nothing exciting at all! lol
