Back from my outside errands. I went to Whole Foods Market to see if they had this particular kind of cheese. I told a lady at the checkout that I had never been there in all my years of living in Petaluma, and how long had it been there. I forget how long she said Whole Foods had been there, but she said, "Before it was this, and before that it was Carl's Market..." Me: (they need a "mind blown" emoticon). Wa-a-ay back when I was a kid--a little kid--I remember shopping with my Mom at Carl's Market. They had concrete floors, and white arrows in red boxes painted on the floor. While I could remember that about Carl's Market, I couldn't remember the exact location it had been in. Now I know. That was my mind-blower for the day. After I walked across and down the street to return a book and pick one up that I had on hold at the library. After that I caught the bus, and stayed on it even when it stopped near my home, because I knew that then it would change to the bus route I needed to get to the post office so that I could send something to someone in my exchange group and the gift card I sold on eBay. Caught the bus again, and now I'm home. Now, I need to get some lunch. Hope that all is well with you in your part of myLot land!
