My weekend off

I was off this weekend from both my jobs, so I took advantage of the weekend!
Saturday I took out furniture I no longer wanted, my boyfriend has curbside pickup so we took it there, I got a new piece that took it's place.
Today I moved everything in my bedroom, living room, dining room, swept and mopped. Then put it back. Swept and mopped one bathroom.
I washed up my dirty dishes and got those put away. I cleaned out the top shelf of one set of cabinets, discarded out of date chips.
Took the trash can down to the road for pickup.
I've washed 5 loads of laundry, that includes bed sheets, blankets and the comforter.
I went into town for an hour, checked my post office box and treated myself to a fish dinner at Captain D's.
I'm just chilling now waiting on the last load of laundry that's in the dryer.
If I feel like it I'll clean out paperwork I no longer need.
It felt so good to do all this in my house this weekend.
How is your weekend going?

That was a ton of work for one day. I bet you are tired, I certainly would be!

It's hard for me to move heavy furniture. I wish I could.

You really kicked it at home today doing so much work.
I envy your energy J20T.
I chilled today, took a walk to pick something up at the grocery store.
Walking was safer than driving due to the insane amount of snow.
We've had more snow in the past 7 days than we did during the 2023-24 season all together.

Laundry can be a big job by itself.

I got the dishes done up, some still waiting to put away. Made us a simple small supper. Took out the trash. Took a nap. That is about all I did.

I didn't want to cook and mess up the clean kitchen.

It has been very quiet and restful here. The snow just keep falling.
I'm glad you had a productive weekend.

@andriaperry Thankfully, it's all melted off now. The prediction is that we might get another 10 inches in the next 48 hours. I don't want that, either.

I've been neglecting house work because of the 2 jobs. It really needed cleaning.
