It's Been A Busy Few Days

Happy Monday Everyone! the sun is shining and the temperatures are above freezing. The sun makes it feel warmer than it is but that's fine with me. I love sunshine. Thursday and Friday my son and grandson were here working on the upstairs. They're putting down laminate flooring in the hallway and into my daughters bathroom. It's really looking nice and I'm glad we decided to do the flooring and not just replace the old carpet with new carpet. It was my sons idea to continue the flooring into the bathroom (which of course required more work) and as always one thing leads to another so my daughter decided she wanted a new vanity and I have to say it was a good decision. They still have about a foot of space to finish in the hallway and then the landing on the stairs. They painted the stairs and we'll do treads when it's all finished. It took them 2 days of hard work to accomplish everything they did but they still need one more day to totally finish it all. My son is fitting us in between his full-time job and since I'm not paying for labor (only materials) I have to be patient and of course he needs to make money to pay his bills. The weekend came and went in a flash. Did the usual grocery shopping and house chores that didn't get done when the boys were here. Today life is back to normal. I'm enjoying my coffee, the dog is snoring next to me and I'm hoping to catch up here. Can't believe that February is rapidly coming to an end and we're getting closer and closer to spring What's going on in your little corner of the myLot world??
