We had that experience today
There was heavy leakage in our boiler flooding a good part of the house The plumber was busy elsewhere and did promise to come. Not knowing when he would arrive I contacted a few of my friends if they knew of any plumber who can come here on an urgent basis.
One plumber called me and just then our plumber arrived.
The maids had to clear the water and in the process I must admit the house got cleaned.
Not only do we now have a second plumber but our house got cleaned.
It no doubt did give us a lot of tension but in the end I only looked at the positive side of this disaster

The amount of water the maids had to get rid of was voluminous. They surely deserve a bonus

Definitely! You got two good birds with one bad stone. 
With a leakage that heavy you really couldn’t wait, it must have been very hard but glad this is now a thing of the past. Enjoy the clean home now!

That must have been so stressful! Glad it all worked out in the end—plus a clean house as a bonus. Silver linings indeed!
