We almost got it all, in one day.

Today has been the weirdest weather day in a long time here. We started out with big winds, howling. Then we had a loud thunderstorm. That didn't last long, and diminished to a mild rain, although it was a sideways rain since it was still so windy. Then another short thunderstorm, then back to the sideways rain. About 1 pm., we got sleet. It was a bit loud. It stopped and it was back to rain, it was 31 so a bit iffy out there. Then it all stopped, except the wind. It got a lot worse. People have been chasing their trash cans, etc. all day here. (I put mine in the garage to avoid that). About 4 pm I heard a big thump by the back door. It was a little chair one of my neighbors sits in outside sometimes. I haven't seen him in it since last fall, he must have tried sitting out on a nicer day and forgot the chair. No harm done. Now, we have snow. Big, big fat flakes. But it won't last long, either. The only missing form of precipitation we didn't get today was hail, and I am NOT sorry we didn't get that! Picture, iStock
