What a wonderful 59!

Yesterday was our 59th wedding anniversary. We drove to a city about an hour away, did a little shopping, then ate at our favorite Mexican restaurant, which was yummy. Came home, got a short nap (old people, lol), then got dressed up, enjoyed some wine and remembered our wedding day. We met about 4pm on March 12 on a blind date. We went to a drive in movie with another couple and I think I fell for him right away. He was tall, had black hair with a kind of Elvis look, and was a southern boy, all the things I liked. We married the next March 12 at 4pm, exactly a year to the hour after we met! On most of our anniversaries we don't exchange gifts and had agreed to that this year. But after we got home, he brought out a wrapped box....my first laptop! I love it. All I had for him was a card. I've always liked my desktop more than typing on my cell phone, but sitting at the desk makes my neck hurt, even with a good chair. Dale's had several laptops over the years, but this is my first. It has a nice big screen, but a little smaller that fits well on my lap. Now I can sit in my recliner and play on line when Dale's watching his Mountain Men shows on TV. So, a very nice surprise on our anniversary. I really appreciate all the kind congrats from you guys. Thanks!!
