Were you affected by weekend storms? I was at a hotel in Nashville, Indiana for a ladies retreat. When about 5isham I was awaken by the storm and the sound of the tornado siren going off in the distance...it did take a few minutes to realize that it was the siren going off...at the same time the electric flickered out about three times before going completely out...so I headed into the bathroom until it passed.
The electric never did come back on, so I took a shower by shining my cell phone light into the mirror, which helped produce more light.
The retreat continued on...thankfully the rooms we were in had windows and was able to produce enough light to carry on.

There were issues around here. There were numerous reports of hail damage in Louisville. We had no tornadoes in Louisville, but there were a couple in southern Indiana. (They didn’t mention Brown County on the local news because that’s covered by Indianapolis TV.) DEFINITELY nothing like the fatal storms in Arkansas, Missouri, Mississippi, and Alabama. There was some flooding (one of the parks I frequent was closed because of high water), but nothing compared to other places. Thank God!

You are right...it was far worse where the tornados went through...especially Mississippi from what I saw.

Glad you are okay, sad for the ones that lost their homes.

@terri0824 I think we are good with the storm from early morning. Was some heavy rain, but I haven't seen any news of tornadoes touching down anywhere, thank God!
