They're robbing our delivery trucks here.

I live in a fairly safe neighborhood in the East Bay of the San Francisco Bay Area. Our mail is regularly stolen, and our cars are often broken into, but things like violent muggings and home invasion robberies are rare here.
Recently, there has been an increase in bad guys in hoodies and masks strong arm robbing liquor stores and delivery trucks to liquor stores. I hope they catch the bad guys. Someone got a license plate number during one of the recent incidents, but these bad guys tend to use stolen cars for their naughty work.

We are blessed that so far we live too far out for criminals to venture here.

I know there is some crime around where I live but I never bother to check it out since I only go where I know I will be safe. However, according to the Internet I live in one of the most dangerous cities in the US. Want to come visit?
Furthermore, Daytona Beach recorded 2063 property crimes, amounting to 2675 per 100,000 residents, which was higher than the average by 36.9%. With a violent crime rate of 928 crimes per 100,000 residents, Daytona Beach is known as one of the most dangerous cities in the United States.

@TheHorse as far as I know around the city are homeless camps where the homeless hang out but I have never seen them myself.

Thank goodness there is not much crime in the Lake Charles area since we are a small town. Just an occasional robbery of a service station.

That sounds frustrating! Even in “safe” areas, crime like mail theft and break-ins can be such a headache. Hope they catch those guys soon!
And yes, my country has its share of crime too—everything from petty theft to bigger organized crimes. Just like anywhere, some areas are safer than others. Stay safe out there my friend!

Yes, dear, we have crime here. There's crime everywhere. The "popular" crime lately has been for hoodies with hammers attacking and robbing jewelry stores in malls.

I feel safe at my cabin in Montana. Here in California I have been a victim of "white collar crime" (mail theft, workplace discrimination, failure to pay for services rendered, religious discrimination, etc.) than violent crime (muggings, etc.). I have only been physically attacked once in over 25 years of living in California.

Our city is unsafe too. Very often there's robbery, murders and kidnapping. My son have appointed a security guard for our house and I have a dog too.

Not in my vicinity. None that I know of. But I am sure these things are happening just in unreported fashion.
