Let's bake: Sourdough time!

I have an cookbook with a lot of what most would consider old timey recipes that I have been trying. One of them that I have wanted to do for awhile is a really simple sourdough bread recipe. I got up and got the three ingredients mixed and now it's "proofing" or whatever you want to call it on the counter until it's time to put it in the oven tonight. So stay tuned, I'll post when it comes out of the oven tonight.

Ooh, old-timey sourdough! That sounds amazing. I love trying recipes from older cookbooks – there's something so satisfying about them. Can't wait to see how your bread turns out! Good luck with the baking – let us know how it tastes.

Looking forward toward retiring in August, so that I can do activities such as making sourdough bread.

My BIL makes a mean sourdough loaf. He uses a bread-maker though.
